I got these earlier this week. Love the sound from them, but my 2 pin connector already started flaking and shredding off... Disappointed...

Same issue here. Liked the sound but sent it back. Now im testing Tri I3.
The Tri i3 is a well loved IEM, especially for soundstage.

Any info on L5 yet?

Nothing significant that I’ve found.

Ouch. My wallet is crying. Just started reading up on the Tri i3 and it sounds pretty interesting

Anybody have both the L3 and the i3 and care to give their thoughts. IEMusic ?

I have been trying to hold out to hear about the LZ A7 but by golly a planar mid range setup sounds nice.

I like them both. I3 got the treble I missed a little on L3. Also the driver flex problems I had with the L3 is way less on I3.

I3 is bigger and heavier, but fits me better, L3 rubbed in my ears.

L3 is easier to drive, I3 need lots of power to really sound good. Fiio Btr5 or K3 (both ballanced) did it for me.

L3 is easier and more forgiving to listen to. Even not so great recordings sound great for hours of listening. I3 is a little fatiguing after some time.

I am not a chart wiz but that chart for the 5 looked pretty smooth. Is this a shot at a reference design? Will bass fans go for it?

I think of the L3 as fairly smooth; but the 5 looks to be even moreso.
If you like a lot of mid bass, is definitely not for you.
But it does have good amount of sub bass.
(tell by the graph)

I really think it’s meant to have a very similar tuning to the Monarch/Clairvoyance. Which hopefully will be a great, more affordable option.

Main competition will probably be the Mangird Tea, Penon Orb, and Moondrop Blessing 2.
