I agree. This nonsense has to stop. Prices are getting way out of hand.

Can I ask what kind of drainage on the battery people are getting on their Opus #1 when in the deep sleep mode?

The reason I ask is I was losing about 4-5% of the battery when in deep sleep for about 24 hours but that's suddenly shot up to 13-14% when in deep sleep for 24 hours.

i normally get double digits after a few days (maybe 3-5 days) - that is with the unit fully turned off. worse if it's on deep sleep. You can also read through the thread - a lot of users have experienced such.

Have the Opus #1 with SE846, but sounds quite neutral. Out of my phone the lower frequencies have noticeably more impact.
Using medium spinfits and the black filters.
Is this just how the Opus sounds and I need to EQ it, or would using foam tips improve it?

Personally consider Opus roughly neutralish, but that shouldn't mean the bass frequencies disappear... no harm in trying the EQ.

Does the 846 not come with foam tips? Don't have any Shure headphones but their foam tips are quality, although usually I find foam to decrease bass a touch, if anything.
