thebit Opus#1 DAP from South Korea

So after getting a little time pairing the 500 a bit with this DAP, I find it to be a great pairing! Now, I would like to mention it may not have enough power for the higher bitrate tracks (I had to max out the volume on one of my 24/96 rips), but overall, it has no problem powering the HE-500s. Also note that I don't listen to my music all too loud, so that may contribute. Overall, I am very happy with this DAP! Now to fix my cabling issue. In the meantime, I have no issues with using the stock cabling.

Yeah I know we all have different hearing levels but for me I'm usually high gain anywhere from 100-110 with IEMs, full size cans I usually need upwards of 120-130

Which IEMs and full-size?

Oh my! This is very loud! You should use an amp if you are driving a hard to drive phone. On my Opus#2, I have to lower to low gain, volume "1"(I wish they have a even lower volume, like 0.3) with Andromeda or after a while it will become unbearable. On IT03, I have up to 70 at low gain though.

What? On Low Gain, you listen to Andromeda at volume 1?

No. I'm sorry. I don't believe this.

I understand Andromeda is more sensitive, but my U12 is at 85 on Medium Gain.

I did not realize it until when I tried to lower it further and it became silent and then I realized it was at 1. I am now at a noisy starbucks listening to it at 25. Yeah, I just checked it. In my study room, it is so quiet, I don't really need much volume.

Good lord. That would be like a whisper of a whisper. A mouse fart, by the stealthiest of mice.

Either something is horribly awry with his Opus, or our newest thread member is...

Honestly, to my ears its not very loud. When I had my Oppo HA2 I didn't notice any difference

Is there a way to have the last song played come up after powering off? Mine always starts off with preloaded songs. Thank you.

Dun´t turn it off. It´s the only solution.

If you stop using the player, it starts a "sleep mode" which is suppose not to drain the battery.

I think the problem is my Opus#2 has burned in for too long, now it is too well done ...

Has anybody had issues with the Opus1 hanging? I just received mine last week ( I love it btw ) I finally did the firmware update last night and now it hangs and i have to shut it down. I also added some music right after the update, so I am not sure if it is the update, or the music that caused this. Any suggestions?

Sometimes youll have issues untill you do 1 or 2 reboots and everything seems yo be better after that.
