Looking forward to this one..made by the same people who made bastion, out for PS4 and PC on May 20th and is priced at $19.99!

Oh, you mean Transistor? I've been following Transistor since its first announcement. And a May 20 release? I'm super pumped for that! I wonder what Darren Korb's gonna do this time around?

I love that 8 bit / 16 bit sound. After that it lost its charm.

Is there a website with 8bit or 16bit NES/Sega sound style versions of all popular songs? I wish there was a program that could covert any song into that format.

I'm with you. The old school midi music was the best. I'm not sure there is a website like that, you might want to try torrents. Although there is http://ocremix.org where people remix popular video game music. Some of the mixes are actually not that bad. Another 16bit classic soundtrack (and game) I love:

Hm, guess noone mentioned Shenmue and Okami yet.

Well, this is a bit tuff, since I love the whole Soundtrack. Don't know what song or theme I could present you. :)

Also the soundtrack from Alan Wake is awesome. And from Jet Set Radio (Future) / Jet Grind Radio, depending from the location.

Quoting a post from the "What Are You Listening To" thread:

John Robert Matz, Ryan Ike, and Francisco Cerda -- Gunpoint: The Soundtrack
Price: $5.00 [Bandcamp Link]

41 tracks (about half are actually full-length) of futuristic-noir spy music. Includes both regular tracks and Crosslink versions (electronic remixes of the original song). The full soundtrack also includes auditions and tracks never used in the final game.

One that brings a lot of memory's for me is definitely this. From Ragnarok Online, it has very unique music in my opinion.
A lot of the songs were very good at setting the mood in the maps. This one was from the Main city in the game Prontera.

Any Final Fantasy Piano Collections or Piano Opera music is superb. Nobuo Uematsu is great at putting out most of his sheet music, along with these albums to his books. Also check out his band, The Black Mages, that do rock/metal covers of all of his FF music!!
