Just got hold the new UM 2HT demo units from my dealer. At first listening, the soundstage definitely larger then 3DT. Like it better then A7. Only negative, I have to use foam tips again! The woody grain with red and purple is nice to look at and slightly smaller then 3DT.

There's abundant of spatial space in 2HT. But 3DT have the upper hand in detail and Timbral layering.

The smaller size of 2HT is a plus for smaller ears.

Do you own a 3DT?

Alright, I'll be comparing the 2HT and Aur Storm since they are in the same price bracket.

I think tgx78 will have his storm earlier then me, he also have a Dunu SA6.

It's all in the tuning if all BA could get to the Timbral accuracy of DDs.

just by virtue of the tuning as you rightly say .... that Tansio Mirai should be a guarantee.
