Hi, I have a project head box II plus a project DAC box that I'm using with my hifiman HE-400i and denon d2000.
I'm not really happy with this combo (borrowed a modi+vali for couple of days and it was way better for my ears).
so I'm looking to upgrade.
I want something that will go well with the headphones i have, don't have plans to change them any time soon.
 
I want to spend around 300$ and i don't mind picking up something used
what do you guys think about this options?

If you liked the tube sound of the Vali, you might also consider the Little Dot I+. It is a hybrid tube/solid state amp, so it does well with low impedance headphones.
