Hi, I have a project head box II plus a project DAC box that I'm using with my hifiman HE-400i and denon d2000.
I'm not really happy with this combo (borrowed a modi+vali for couple of days and it was way better for my ears).
so I'm looking to upgrade.
I want something that will go well with the headphones i have, don't have plans to change them any time soon.

I want to spend around 300$ and i don't mind picking up something used
what do you guys think about this options?
GUSTARD h10
schiit asgard 2\valhalla 2\used lyr
audio gd NFB 15 or 11

or something else, open for suggestions

cheers

If you liked the tube sound of the Vali, you might also consider the Little Dot I+. It is a hybrid tube/solid state amp, so it does well with low impedance headphones. And unlike the Vali, you can switch out the tubes to try for a bit different sound: http://www.head-fi.org/t/364043/little-dot-i-tube-rolling

I have the NFB-11 and like it very much :)
