You laugh, but it's not due to sound quality issues. I was simply made a great offer so I decided to take them up on it. Walked out with a Nikon D7000 and several accessories, all in great shape with light usage. I still like the T1 sound.
 
But after this weekend, I prefer the sound of the HE-560 more than the T1. Damn.

Not sure to what you'd be comparing. The GO is a USB DAC/amp stick and an iPod is a DAP.
 
But speaking of comparing DAPs, does anyone have any interest in the HiFiMan HM-700/RE-600b combo?

In case anyone is interested, my Little "Monster" Dot will be equipped to run a pair of Siemens C3g's, triode-strapped pentodes, or a Sylvania 7963, a sub-miniature double-triode. The C3g is essentially the same tube Yamamoto uses in a number of their amps. And the 7963 is probably the best tube that no one has every heard.

Haha, I wish I had a prototype of the Wave to demo at the meet, they might make a good amount of sales from it. But the campaign isn't over yet so they're not full swing into production yet.

But I have finally heard the Geek Out. And it was lovely. It's made the wait for mine more annoying. I have a GO1000 that's not tied to IGG or Kickstarter in any way coming eventually, so I wonder when they're going to ship that. Hopefully in the group of pre-orders.

Also, everyone will get to meet my wife this weekend, assuming she chooses to join me instead of her friend at a wedding. So for now I'm putting myself down as having a +1.

You don't have to bring any gear to make it worth going. Just bring yourself (and a pizza or two if you like). The more the merrier.
