The stacking kit is used for bundling with Headphone amps or DACs.

By using the stacking frame, we can avoid blocking the screen with bands and interfering with the side buttons operation.

Considering the above situations, we've come up with the following designs. How do you think of it? Please do not hesitate to tell us if you have any better idea.

Thanks in advance.

Looks great as is - I will be buying one for my new X5 Gen 3. Was very happy with my kit for original X5.

My X5 Gen 3 is the black version and this would work well for me. If I had a titanium or red version, I might want a frame that was a more complementary color - clear?

Thanks for another fun Fiio product.

Just picked up an X5 3rd gen and an A5 which is what it looks like you have pictured.
Any ideas of when you are planning on shipping?
Just a couple of odd thoughts if you are still looking for input
The top band looks alittle close to the pause/play button
Also, would acrylic pads supplied with the A5 allow for enough space between for heat dissipation or would another method be recommended especially with them banded together? (noticed both devices tend to get a little warm with the pad and wondering if air flow is sufficient or if it could be improved between the two with a few little standoffs instead)

Just my thoughts,

I do like the way It looks just as i have It. Some double sided tape. Id there is a l17 cable in black color

Marco, just curious, it looks like you are using the cable that came with the A5. Do you have any issues with it?
Every time I touch the set up just a little bit I wind up losing audio, either to one side or the other or it cuts completely.
Trying to figure if this is to be expected or if there is something else wrong.

I have not, it works perfectly, i dont give it a hard use but when i was ABing the internal amp vs the A5, and switching the cable, i gave me no problems

Thanks for the prompt response. I will try another line cable before contacting FiiO. Hoping it's just the connectors on the line cable supplied by them. Hate to think it is one of the jacks.
Just bought this rig.

I have just double checked the cable and Jacks, no problem here.
By the way @Fiio I would love to have the short cable on higher quality but black as the x5iii

I guess that no stacking kit will be as sealth as mine
