I randomly get the same error message "Issue with SD Card, Tap to fix" when powering up NW-A100TPS from cold. I have tried several factory resets, tried with another brand new SD card and I still get the error message randomly. A turnaround is to restart the device but doing that I need to re-config Spotify storage settings. Very annoying. I wonder whether its a HW issue or OS issue. Is anyone having this problem??

I have this problem too, did you format the card in the unit itself?

Hi, I also have a f886+ie8 and looking to upgrade either to a a55 or an a105. Are you using an eu version or non eu? Can you compare the sound output level between the two when using the ie80?
Thanks!
I still keep F805 and A55. Beside that A55 supports more formats lịke DSD and its battery last longer, F800 beats A55 in SQ when playing the same files. I think you might want to jump to a higher than A-serie.

Yes, I formatted the card from the unit itself. It's really random and it also appears on my colleague's unit. If you restarted the unit after seeing the message the SD card is ok again. I think it's more likely to be an Android OS issue rather than the hardware itself.

Yep mine does the same thing, it says my card needs formatted. But if I restart the unit it's fine. I'm sure it's an android bug. Lately I've just been leaving the unit on.

But the A105 beats the F805 and the F886 in sound quality anyway.

I can compare between f886 and a15, and f886 is better, but for classical music the volume level is on the edge when using the ie8. Going forward, if I get a105 and the volume is more or less the same, I don't know if a55 will a better option because I can unlock the volume cap.
I'm not into importing from JP.

If you want high-end sound quality go for the A105 and get a Sennheiser IE800, or IE800S. If volume isn't enough in some ways, get a dragonfly cobalt usb dac too -or just get an 507.

Don't get the UK model, get a tourist, Asian pacific or Japanese model. If the UK model can't drive ie800 then that's horrible. Read all the complaints about low volume on UK Amazon.

I've got the EU model with the IE800, and in most cases it's loud enough. Loudness depends on the file signal level too.

I was going buy another person who said that even on 120 volume it wasn't loud with ie800. It's already a low powered unit I don't see why you'd want it to be even lower powered is all.

Especially when you can import easily through good sellers. I always import Sony models because although not volume limited in the states, they take forever to appear here.

got one as a Christmas gift for my girlfriend,
exchanged at store since there were 3 hot pixels,
then i figured there is a noise like something not being held in place when shaking the 2nd unit,
is that normal?

I have no noise if I shake.
