The following changes and improvements were made to firmware 1.3 compared to 1.2:

 

1. Added option to play through folders: ie automatcially skipping to the first song in the next folder after the last song in the current folder.

2. Added option to delete a whole folder.
3. Added support for exFAT card format (firmware updates still need to be performed using a FAT32-formatted card).
4. Preset EQ settings may now also be adjusted. 
5. Non-music files generated when a card is accessed by an Apple / Linux computer are now hidden and do not affect browsing.
6. Fixed issue where some songs are shown with incorrect Genre on the X1.
7. Fixed issue where shuffle mode reverted to the same set of "random" songs if starting from the same song.
8. Various other bug fixes.

Gapless with FLAC works perfectly for me, but I don't use cue sheets.

Whole folder deletion now works perfectly with ExFAT.
 
Single file deletion only works when the file is playing...

47 mins to download a 26 MB file? That's pretty poor performance considering I am on a 6 M/s connection. Perhaps you could look into your server problem? Just a friendly heads up. Thanks for the new FW though. I just got my X1 and I'm anxious to update and start using the device!

Yes, I confirm this issue: gapless playback of single FLAC with Cue Sheet doesn't work in FW 1.3.
So, this firmware is useless for me.

Found a bug: If you set the sleep mode settings. Turn off and turn on the player, the settings are reset sleep - sleep mode is turned off.

What is going on there?

The library update gets hung up with FW1.3.  Can't get past 1641 files and then freezes, requiring a hard reset.  I had the same problem when I tried the Beta 1.22, and mentioned it here.  I've gone back to FW 1.1 and have no problems.
