I just skimmed through the original post, and made it like 2 scrolls down. Mad props to the op who was so passionate to take that amount of time to help us select the perfect tube.

Hilarious. If true... but surplus to him would require a few extra storage... warehouses universes.

You guys are so funny. But even *I* wouldn't try to pawn off a tube as European that is so very obviously Russian.

Mullard 6SN7 Scam Alert: "*SUPER* Rare MULLARD ENGLAND (RELCO Labeled) 5692 6SN7"

Super Rare Mullard... because Mullard didn't make 6SN7s, also because it's a cheap Foton. Not made in England :scream:

Foton 6SN7s can be decent... just not $100 decent 🤣
I didn't even look at the seller initially. It's BangyBang. "Tubesradios" is a new one (on me), but "tubescoins" is one of his known alias accounts, and if you scroll to the bottom you'll see the account listed as just that. And if any further doubt, the legendary misuse of the apostrophe is a BangyBang trademark.

I was thinking more along the lines of this. But I edited the prior post just to be safe. Gotta be a cousin Eddie in every crowd. 🤣 🤣

The outcome: Without further argumentation, the seller will send me some replacement tubes.
Epilogue:
Do you remember my humming Melz's 1578 from 1963.

After a long wait I finally got the replacement ones. This time from 1955 vintage. Again these looks like new, sound great but guess what, they also hum on the Euforia.
However last weekend the Euforia was replaced by the Envy. On the Envy, on low gain the Melz's don't hum anymore :beerchug: (barely audible to be more precise). But they start to hum as I switch the gain to mid or high. At least I can now enjoy them.

Have you tried reflowing or replacing the solder in the pins? They're notorious for needing that done. Once done, they are dead quiet in most cases.
