Finnegan is male. As far as females and audio, Audiogal currently has one of my Incubus amps and she gave me a very good audio description of tubes I included with the amp. Those included a Melz 1578, Tung Sol black and grey glass, and even a GE 5998.THE cat is named Finnegan and she is our tube buddy
