I love the newest album, White Noise is one of my all time favourites. I am not bothered if some do not like it, seeing them live the new stuff went down a bomb as much as the older tracks.

Just thought I'd let you guys know Pelican is playing a free show in Pomona, Ca at the Glass House.  Great venue if you've never been there before.  Can't wait for next month, Pelican, Russian Circles, ASIWFA, and Lisa Hannigan(not post rock) all playing in my area.

Have you tried earlier Mogwai, such as "Come On Die Young"?

Finally got disc. Though music is okay, I didn't like lyrics at all. I will try their latest one soon.

Totally blown away by this song:

I found some Mathcore I like, ive been looking for it for a while.  Both their albums and their EP are great.

I was into it until the vocals kicked in......

Ya, you have to be into that, i was looking for Mathcore without vocals but couldn't find any. Most of the bands around here are into metalcore with majority of vocals being cookie monster, takes some getting used to but its a cool genre of music if you can get past it.

The day Muse pushed their new album took an unexpected turn.

Thanks for sharing that, I enjoyed it quite a bit.
And glad this thread was revived.
What happened here?  Everyone still have ASIWYFA Gangs on loop?
Anyway here is something that probably isn't Math but it pretty much completely lacks a genre and I think those that enjoy Math would enjoy this.  Pure talent and art and talent.

I'm still listening through Alone at least once a day but I can't wait for his new album.

Gallops. Welsh experimental, electronic math rock.
Saw them last Monday in Amsterdam, opening for And So I Watch You From Afar.
I had never heard their music before, but was impressed by their performance. Bought their album and am enjoying it thoroughly.

Check out their album Yours Sincerely, Dr. Hardcore on their bandcamp.
