Starting a thread about this somewhat fascinating myth because i think it is an interesting topic.

Just to be clear i do not believe that he died, got replaced or whatever, just that there is a bunch of clues if you will in the music and album art etc that points to this being something that the producers, the Beatles themselves and other influencers around them perpetuated mostly for laughs and to get a reaction out of people.

I will post some of the stuff they have done to hopefully open some eyes as to why this myth exists and how it is not all imaginary.

Starting out with a screenshot from the start of the movie Yellow Submarine with a gravestone that says "No 49 Here lie buried"

4 = Paul, 9 = McCartney

Early Beatles album cover where the "dead" beatle is conveniently placed inside a large container. Paul being highlighted is a reoccuring theme, but there are more blatant ones than this.

The Abbey Road cover is getting a lot of attention for its many different interpretations.
One of these is that John is the priest, Ringo the one participating in the funeral, Paul the dead man and Harrison the undertaker. This is mostly due to how they are dressed.

Paul is walking barefoot which is how many cultures bury their dead, he is also the only one holding a cigarette also known as a coffin nail. The Beetle in the background has a registration plate that says "28 IF" which is the age he would have been had he "still been alive". There is also a car seen in the horizon in the same path as Paul is walking which is one major part of the myth.. that he died in a car crash.

Timestamped from Strawberry fields forever when a car drives by in the background through Pauls Head.

The "I buried Paul" thing.

"It's a bit funny Cranberry Sauce sounded a bit like i buried Paul. We didn't even think about it. I mean of course there is a slight chance that John did without telling me"

The Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club band cover is so riddled with occult symbolism that it almost deserves its own thread.

The Buddha figure in the front (supposedly on a grave) is pointing towards both Paul McCartneys.. the new and the old. There is an extended hand above the centered Pauls head which some say symbolize him being dead. The head directly above Paul is of an author called Stewen Crane who wrote a book book about 4 men who went on a mission where only 3 survived.

The doll on the right says "Welcome the Rolling Stones" Also note the blood stained drivers glove and the toy car.

Here is the album cover for the Rolling stones their satanic majesties request. Clearly seen are the heads of all 4 Beatles members.

This is what the drum looks like if you place a mirror in the center. He Die.

There is just too much on this particular album cover, i'm sure one could go on forever. The point is that an extreme attention to detail has been put into all of this and cannot be disregared as mere conincidences.

Paul McCartney being the only one with a red background, Paul McCartney being the only one wearing a black rose. He is very often highlighted in one way or another.

I just realized that the pose Lennon is doing on the "Yesterday and today" cover posted above is eerily reminescent of the hanged man tarot card.hanged.jpg

Interestingly there are other strange occurrences regarding John Lennon one being that he is at the center of the Revolver album cover which is ultimately the weapon that finished him by Mark David Chapman. Also note how Paul is the only one not facing forwards.

This one gave me a real what the.. moment.

The best way to go is by M&D Company.. MDC. To go for those not familiar with the english language can mean to die, pass away etc.

Picture is from the Magical Mystery Tour booklet which was released on December 8th, 1967, 13 years to the day before John Lennon’s death.

What about when you play Revolution #9 backwards. The words say “turn me on dead man”. I was at a (month-long) NOLS backpacking trip, miles into Montana and had camp mates of 13 year old girls. Being 13 myself I became pleasantly surprised by all this talk (it went on for days) the songs sang word for word.........all the “Paul McCartney” death clues. I heard them all almost.

“The Walrus was Paul.”

Other artists wanted to capitalize on the phenomenon as well by making their own Paul is dead songs.

Paul Is dead number 1

Terry Knight - Saint Paul.

Published by MacLen (McCartney Lennon?)

Paul is Dead no. 2

Werbley Finster - So Long Paul

Paul is Dead no. 3

The Mystery Tour - The Ballad of Paul

Paul is Dead no. 4

Billy Shears and the All-Americans - Brother Paul

“Penny lane is in my ears and in my eyes.”

In reference to putting pennies in the eyes to be buried.

The question at this point is what is not occult in their works. It seems to be in everything and if not it is perhaps the eyes (and ears) that are not trained to notice because i am sure there are way more subtle clues too.

Lennon talking about singing in reverse..

"My fade is me singing backwards and the guitars going backwards cheret now fifnerefeth neeeerov neeeeoooaneee"
