The specs on these are 32ohm and 96 db sensitivity, so they don't look very efficient. Are they efficient, and how do they sound at low and high and volumes (distortion, clarity)? thanks
They drive perfectly on every device I have.. By the way take the specs from monoprice.com with a grain of salt.. Their specs are off.. There is no way these earphones are 20hz-20Khz, notice that is the specs on all their headphones? . The dynamics on these are 100% solid. Fully clean and balanced.. Let me tell you guys a little story.. I brought these over to my fathers house.. My father is an old school audiophile..He used to run the biggest record store in Suwon S Korea during the 60s and owns a collection of audio equipment in his basement that will make your head spin. I asked him if he can guess how much these were. He said $150? $200? He was shocked when I showed him the web site where I got them for. I am in the process of ordering a pair for him actually. .SO it passed the old man test and his ears are better than mine by a long shot...Low clear as day, and high volumes no distortion.. These simply can't cost less than $10.. I do notice they need just a tad more volume on the same players I use them with vs my other IEMS.. But not an issue. The clarity, instrument separation, balance, fullness, treble, bass it has all of it in full force..
I know there will be guys that will doubt everything I say about these. I mean it makes no sense. How can a $7.11 earphones sound good? It goes against any type of common sense what so ever. I am 100% certain if these were repacked and was released by lets say Sony or JVC and sold for $150 people here would crap at how great they sound and what a bargain they would be even at that price... You guys have nothing to loose in trying one out. The cost is the equivalent to a cup of coffee and a bagel!
