I've had a hard time searching for the perfect IEM's for Trance (Uplifting trance in particular) and I got the Miles Davis Trumpet right now, but I know there are better out there so I wanna know what people who listen to this genre uses.

EDIT: I also might add I'm not good with the technical stuff much, but I do know that in Trance you want to hear the treble and stuff way more than the bass, the bass should not be "warm" and overwhelming if you know what I mean.

You gonna think I am crazy for showing you what I listen to AVB State of trance with. All I can say is get what others will suggest and then get one of these. cuz it only cost $7.11. People here at headfi think I am crazy. Most guys will just skip my suggestion..Wait till you hear what these sound like with trance.. These are so under the radar people think I am suggesting a joke. I am very serious. These will give whatever you get a run for sounds...Great Bass and the crazy thing is it has a very clean sound and fully balanced and layered 3D stage on these. You can close your eyes and just float with the music.

These will make you wonder why we spend so much money for great sounding stuff.  The only issue with these is they come with one smallish mid size plugs so if you have leftovers from others that is where I threw on a bigger set and once a good solid 24hour burn. These will surprise any single person that are willing to try them for peanuts!!  Monoprice.com..  monoprice 8320.

Wouldn't it just blow your mind if you ended up getting these and they turn out to be one of the best sounding cans you have ever heard for trance? For music.?

You believe in these so much. It's nice to see the passion. I ordered a pair.

Yeah I do, I can't explain how good they sound on the iPhone together with lossless. But as I said, I strive to find the BEST ones, and I believe there are better out there.

Yes these ones feel really "expensive" and stuff, but if I go look at the Shure S535 or something from Westone, I start to wonder if mine are any good compared to them.

I am telling you guys. I listen to so much trance. I like to think I know what I am talking about. After all I do listen to AVB with my Technics 1200 might tell you something...These are literally undiscovered..These aren't just great for electronica but with any type of music.I also own a pair of SONY EX41Bs and while the Sonys have a bit bigger bass the monoprice is way more balanced, clarity and detail the sonys can't touch.Plus the bass is some of the best quality bass with a perfect layers punch on top to the low sub bass you can feel jiggle your eyes. It is a nutty product... Has sizzle up top..The mids are perfect, fully defined and smooth. Wide sound stage for IEMs as it has micro air vents on the back of the driver.. Unreal. They are literally Houdini in an IEM... These will blow your mind. They do look unique too..

I have been suggesting these on guys threads that all want a great sounding  bassy IEM.. IT is funny to me that guys are willing to spend $400 on IEMS and it is more difficult to believe a guy that listens to EDM on a daily basis that suggest a dumb cheapo $7.11.  No one here at headfi is willing to hear my claim on these.

These are shockingly great for any amount of cash let alone. $7.11 with few bucks thrown in for delivery.. They sound like a $200-$300 headphone in sound quality. They make the Sonys lacking so much it isn't even fair. I have way more headphones in my collection than IEMs but these are my favorite sounding IEMs by far.

I ordered these just an hour after I ordered my Westone 4. Can't wait to compare!

Dsnuts, I find it hard that no one listens to you. Hasn't anyone read the Pannies thread?!? ;-)

Oh you read that. And you own one. Nice. Lets just say I like to throw stuff out that deserve a better audience among other enthusiasts.. If I had to choose between the 2 on sound quality alone. I will just say it here.. These little monoprice 8320 represent the absolute best money to SQ ratio I have ever heard or put on my ears over anything I have. I would love to hear it from the more experienced IEM users to tell me I need to wash out my ear of all the wax cus they are not hearing all the clarity and detail with full blown bass on these IEMs.

@LostMySelf: Trance addict at your service my friend.

Hmm... perfectly balanced you say? The two that immediately come to mind are the exquisitely balanced Ortofon e-Q5 and Sony EX1000, two of my absolute favorites, especially when it comes to trance. Others worth equal consideration would have to be the FXT90, GR07, ClarityOne, IE7, and EX600, all well balanced, and wonderful for trance. Nevertheless, on a technical level, none of the aforementioned match the technical proficiency of the first two (e-Q5 and EX1000).

@Dsnuts: Very interesting my friend. At that price, I really don't see any harm in trying them.

Oh yea I recommend them for everyone. They will surprise you like you won't believe..The level of sound these emit is stupid. I am still in shock over just how great these are. I was thinking about starting a thread with these. I still might but I need a few guys to take my word for it and try them. They aren't the most comfy in ears but will more than make up for any short comings with sheer brilliant sound on a level that is hard to achieve at any price let alone what I payed for them. I absolutely need some guys that have higher end IEMs to try these to tell me just how these little throw away in ears sound to them.. Just prepare yourself for the Moment!   Like I mentioned before to Op. Get one these guys recommend and then spend $10 at the most for one of these monoprice and if I am wrong I will look like this monkey for sure. If I am right. You guys will be the first to hear these here besides myself. These will make you smile from ear to ear. I am willing to bet!

I listen to trance with my Phonak PFE. Both the Perfect Bass and Perfect Fit models will do, but you'll want to pop grey filters in. The sound is deliciously balanced and clear as day.

Also, heard of Otographic Arts? Some of the best uplifting trance I've heard.

The specs on these are 32ohm and 96 db sensitivity, so they don't look very efficient.  Are they efficient, and how do they sound at low and high and volumes (distortion, clarity)?  thanks

Yeah I have, not really my cup of tea. I prefer stuff from Andy Blueman, Arctic Moon and so on.
