The other Bachs

The local public radio station broadcasts "Music of the Masters" with Peter Van DeGraaf every night. Great show, great host, and I tune in almost every night.

He spent a bit of time playing music from J.S. Bach's prodigy. I've loved J.S. for years, but have never explored the other Bachs, though I really should.

Any recommendations or favorites among Bachs other than J.S.? (Yes, P.D.Q. can be included. :))

I don't think you can go wrong with any Bach...seriously. I own everything put out by J.S. Bach and random recordings here and there of the rest of the family and I seriously believe there isn't a dull musical piece in any of the ones I own.

I meant to post a link to this very nice freebie from Soli Deo Gloria (Gardiner own's label), and this is the perfect thread to do it. Last week I did not know that Johann Christoph Bach even existed, but based on this track, I have to agree with LFF
