The kc06 tend to be rather polite when it comes to highs. Yes, they have detail and is quite well done, but they lack the sparkle to present some genres to the fullest. I'd suggest something a little bassier but with more aggressive highs. Only one I can think of right now is the Bassos

i dont think the bassos have aggressive highs at all, i dont even consider the tenore aggressive
DN1000 on the other hand hit that mark.

I routinely open my drawer and see two phones, ASG 2's that cost me $655 and GR07 BE's that cost* me $130. Only one IEM comes out when I close that drawer and I can tell you it ain't the ASG 2....

Long live the gr07 BE! They are epic and an absolute steal for $130!

I still would like to know if the KC06A shares sonic similarities with the BE. I don't plan on getting the BE, I'd just love to know if the KC06A was tuned in the same vein.

If the GR07 was a chair, I would dream about sitting on it whiles drawing pictures of chairs at naughty angles. It goes without saying said chairs would have ears and a tail. Problem? Didn't think so.
