I listen to some rap, but most of the new skool stuff like enimem is just completely **** IMO. Here is what you ought to be listening to;

Cypress Hill - Hits from the bong, Insane in the membrane
Grandmaster Flash & the furious five - The message, White lines.

not newskool but still newer;

Xzibit - Paparazzi
2pac - Hit em up, Changes

Any other oldskool, or new skool rap listeners in here?

Your post is worded strangely, but nothing that you listed except Flash should be considered old school. Regardless, I love hip hop. I've been listening to it since I was in grade school. Other hot old school artists are:
Boogie Down Productions
Ultramagnetic MC's
Eric B & Rakim
EPMD
Pete Rock & CL Smooth
LL Cool J (used to be the ****)
Kurtis Blow
Big Daddy Kane
Brand Nubian
Public Enemy
Kool Moe Dee
Spoonie Gee

I like all different types of Hip-Hop, some old school acts that are my favorites would have to be..

Public Enemy
N.W.A.
Rakim
Wu-Tang
DJ Quik

Newer Hip-Hop gets a bad rap, there are plenty of good rappers out there right now.

Z-RO
Cormega
Murs
Roscoe
Royce Da 5'9"

how old is old? 98? 93? or 88? of course when you say old school, boogie down productions, big daddy kane or eric b & rakim comes to mind.
i can tell you what's bad(ie the whole shady record) and i can tell you what's good. i can't tell you what's great though. i find it hard to defind so called the great or even the greatest. from good i think it's more like personal preference.

Loved that album back in the 80s. Roxanne, Roxanne... I wanna be your man! Picked it up on vinyl a year or two ago. From the days when rap used to be just slightly raunchy but mostly fun and tasteful.
