Is this tour open to Canadian citizens? :D

I have a mailbox in the US :p
Sorry! US only. If you only knew how many deals I have to pass on around the world you'd have a heart attack. I bet it's in the million dollar range on just the Focal Utopia & Elear.

I've been a member for a long time so I don't have an excuse other
than to say, I've never been a part of a "tour".  LOL.  I"ll sit the "tour" out
and just look forward to your impressions.

Pretty interesting, although I cringe when I hear people compare something they're listening with memories from headphones owned years before. Maybe it's just my bad memory, but nothing beats a good simultaneous A/B to me.

I have to say I'm the opposite. I find I make far better comparisons over a long period of time. Immediate A/B-ing is effective for some comparisons, but I feel it often leads to missing the forest for the trees. I would have no issue describing the general sound characteristics of any headphone I've owned long-term, from memory.

I know what you mean, one does get to know a type of sound signature and the overall feeling, the strong and weak points. User burn-in is not a placebo.

But for reviews getting into more detail, I think memory is not reliable enough.

Somehow this reminded me of a book.
