Well, they are located in Milwaukee, just a few blocks from the Miller brewery. So there's a good chance that large amounts of alcohol are consumed in conjunction with their QA procedures.

I don't disagree with you, but starting a rebuttal with the word "Dude" sorta undermines your point.

I do not meant any offense while calling him dude, I'm rocker, and in our little world, usually we call dude anybody that we do not know the name, I do not see any difference in calling some by a "nick" or simply "dude", "bro", "guy", etc, as none of them are the real names....sorry if this offended you, or the person I was reffering too in some way, but it was not my intention....and I do not see how a simple idiomatic expression could undermine any rebuttal based on experience

See, they say sarcasm is hard to convey in writing and yet you didn't misconstrue my meaning in the slightest.

I also often use (and probably overuse) the familiar "dude" when addressing someone I don't know. So, dude, you have in no way offended me.

If this thing uses the same driver as the MV1, I can attest that burn-in has nothing to do with it. If it uses the same driver as the MV1, I can also attest that amplification has nothing to do with it. It sounded no better running of a pair of '06 Max Modules than it did straight out of an iPod. Despite the impedance, it really isn't difficult to drive.

It's just a rubbish driver. And if you look at it, you can see the 'titanium' coating which looks like a thick, uneven lump of crap sitting on the driver. It isn't remotely smooth, with random bumps and imperfections all over the surface.

I guess we'll all have to wait for that 'all new full size design' they are working on. That's all they'd tell me.

"look at it, you can see the 'titanium' coating which looks like a thick, uneven lump of crap sitting on the driver." is plastic filter like most headphones.

Hey Guys,

What's the difference between the sound of the MV1 and the Pro4AAAT? In the Reviews, there seem to be a confusion about the performance of the Koss cans, most probably because they need to be broken-in more then average (about 250 hours), so I would like to hear genuine comparisons from someone who has proper experience with it.
I know MV1 is closed, the Pro4AAAT is open, so does it mean they sound just different, but not necessarily better or worse even with being the MV1 supposedly a higher level can. I own an old Pro4AAA Plus, and it's a closed headphone, maybe the MV1 being also closed sounds similar? That's why they brought back the vintage Pro4AA (not the T) but not the Pro4AAA?
Anyway, I would like to hear your experience.

The AAT's.

Maybe that why we are yielding different results. I now see at the Koss site that there is a AAAT which I thought was a typo from the OP and maybe the AAAT for $50 more are a much better headphone that has more accuracy and less veil. If that is the case, I am sorry that I stuck my nose (or ears) into this thread. My bad.

Well, crap, LOL.  So glad I read 4 pages of crap waiting to hear of the publication of a Pro4AAAt review.  :P
