DC offsetFinally got to hookup my new 23r tonight, running into an odd behavior though. When I turn the volume/gain knob I get pops out of my Klipsch Forte IV. Any tips about what might be happening? The pops get louder as you turn it up.
EDIT: I tested and it does it with headphones as well. I tried hooking no sources up to the amp, same issues. Tried unplugging some wall wart stuff from the power strip, no changes. Am I missing something?

Crazy daisy. Unfortunate you not getting the 1266, that is by far my fave headphone of ALLLLLLL time.
Yeah, I was really contemplating between the two, with me leaning towards Susvara and giving that another go after my original audition of the unit back in 2018 with less than mediocre amplification.
BUT, after 15 years of Head-Fi, you learn there there is no Fi like HiFi. Seriously, speakers in a good room smash any headphone, and for the price of either the two planars, I can get KEF R7 Meta and slick speaker cables.
If you have a room / space for it, get speakers.

Sounds amazing with high db speakers.Anyone use this for speakers?
How does it sound?
Seems like this AMP has more power than the Riviera for speaker use.
I have a nice collection of headphone gear but my speaker systems (I have 2 big systems) blow my headphones out of water for my total musical bliss. That said, I really enjoy having a nice headphone setup for a different musical perspective/experience. Agreed. The sensation of being in front of 95dB+ speaker set with light 18" woofers is quite irreplaceable. But as you've said, cans are different and they have their own advantages.

Maybe read the thread and the reviews.DC offset
Short answer is no. It’s the expected behaviour and nothing to worry about.

I disagree, as one who had a TOTL speaker system I find unless you spend a fortune that a TOTL HP like the susvara, abyss or sr1a with TOTL source every bit the equal of speaker systems...It is obviously a completely different presentation...just one mans opinionYeah, I was really contemplating between the two, with me leaning towards Susvara and giving that another go after my original audition of the unit back in 2018 with less than mediocre amplification.

not finding the answer on google: would one need a pre-amp between a non pre-amp dac and Enleum? for example- can i hook up a Holo May directly to the Enleum? i'm currently using a Hugo TT2 on dac mode with no problem, but the TT2 is also a pre amp.
tnx
tnx
Yes you can. The Enleum is an integrated amp with volume control. You can have DACs directly output single ended audio to it and you're good to gonot finding the answer on google: would one need a pre-amp between a non pre-amp dac and Enleum? for example- can i hook up a Holo May directly to the Enleum? i'm currently using a Hugo TT2 on dac mode with no problem, but the TT2 is also a pre amp.

Yes, it's very different. Our entire bodies are exposed to waves generated by speakers and that radically changes how we 'see' music. Cans work 'only' on our ears. Both presentations can be great nonetheless
