I was looking into getting the CLAS -db to pair with my ALO Audio "The International" but I'd like to get some opinions of the community as to some other highly regarded portable DACs.

Im also curious about this one... So far its Cirrus (i dont know the exact variant CLAS has), Wolfson 8740, the one used by RSA Intruder (again, i dont know what is it) and etc?

HRT iStreamer is bigger than what you want.
 
CEntrance HiFi M8 / Fostex HP-P1 / Sony PHA-1 are too large because they already have an amp included. Finally there are maybe a handful to choose from:

Are you referring to the Triad Audio Lisa 3? If so, that's a portable amp... Not a DAC.
