Heh, MJG, my cables are probably going to come out similar, with the black tech flex you have.. I wish he had some cool PET, but he only has the flame resistant stuff in stock.

I'm surprised he didn't ask for them in green and red or red/white/blue, since he deemed everything else "boring" or "ugly" when he asked what color techflex he should use in his other thread.

yeah, for some reason I thought I had my choice at any techflex color.

I cannot comment on these particular cables, but my mini-dac's balanced output sounds different (and better) than the unbalanced output, I don't know why. I am sure mjg can confirm this. I've read the same thing about the Benchmark. You may wish to try a balanced -> unbalanced cable on your Aqvox too.
