In fact it plays every bitrate/sample rate combo I've thrown at it in every lossy and lossless formats it is supposed to support. no problems there...

I just got mine ! may I ask what case you guys are using ?
 
can't find any online yet.. so I dig out my old  iRiver H320 and took out the casing and place it on my DX50 :-

I decided to use my DX100 this morning... Only to be reminded that the "random" function on the DX50 is about 8900% better than the one on the DX100.
 
Dear Ibasso: Give me the DX100 sound with the DX50 UI and I will pay GOOD money for that DAP!!

keep in mind people also more likely to complain if there's something wrong, than to say anything if all is well. seeing that iBasso is on their 5th batch soon, thats 1800 units shipped, and a handful of issues, some that have been fixed with the latest firmware upgrade. not stellar when it comes to electronics, but pretty amazing considering iBasso is a small company, and their product has only been out for a month.

That is not yet the facts! The fact is that the firmware still has fault.

Since the problem that the TAGS OGG Vorbis, APE compressed music is not to be read correctly, cover art does not work with these formats. Since the problem is to be skipped without the reason tracks. The deficient battery indicator. The stop of the player after the album was played. These are only the mistakes are evident to me. Taking the contributions of other users that these are not small things.

I have seen enough members as myself on this board to say that unless you ask you don't get. I waited until I couldn't anymore and sent them an email request, they sent one back with the tracking number and courier used. You may wanna do the same

I was impressed how fast my DX50 topped up today from 1/2 charge, (probably about 1.5 hours) and since using them with a demo unit I have here, I've found an entirely new appreciation for my iBasso. It might take a few pairings imo to find the correct synergy but when you do, it's very rewarding and so easy to use from a UI perspective (finding albums/tracks etrc) I only sort like any other of my players from the directory, not interest in albums, genres etc. DX50 really is a neat little piece of audio kit.

I did send them a couple of emails just to inform them that I didnt get any receipts from them. a day after they reply to confirm that I made it the 4th batch but did not give any tracking number or receipts.
