Hi guys, does anyone know how to get rid of the annoying cutting off of the first .5s kf the track or so? Seen some discussion about changing the timing to 3s but i can't even find that menu... Thanks in advance

i have same problem, btw what firmware do you use at the momment?
 
if you dont mind using custom firmware, try Doc's firmware like NDFF V3 or NDFFF or the latest fw True Sounds V2, with that firmwares my problems are gone

I tried using one of the more popular custom firmwares, think it was true sound or pure sound or somrthing like that and it bricked my dx50. I had to factory reset it. Would greatly help if someone could run me through the steps cause i know I'm definitely doing something wrong.

If you are using true sounds please dissable gapless, because with gapless on, mine restarting always when press fordward-back button or switch between tracks.

Dont know why your dx50 brick, but dont forget after factory reset, you have to delete .audio data on the sd and .album data on the internal storage, so you can rescan librrary afterwards

So with true sound, i can't have gapless playback?

In my case, i cant turn on gapless because restarting issue, but with true sound my tracks didnt cut off anymore even with the gapless is off..

AFAIK, you can only find hidden menu on the SU 1.3.3 firmware, this fw souds as goood as the True sound V2, but gapless in SU 1.3.3 doesn't work and also have cutoff in the beginning of track

The true sound fw doesn't look any different from the regular one does it?

For the Ui it looks same, but different font, for me looks better, but doesnt support chineese font yet
