Those plastic(?) knobs look really ugly, but it will nice to see some specs and hear some impressions.
 
If it is SS I hope it's warm to counterbalance Hifiman's phones.

The last pictures showed the HE-6 being driven off the impedance box hooked up to the speaker taps of the EF6.  
 
Unlikely, but I wonder if the XLR output is tapped into the same speaker output now.
