Hey, playing any musical instrument is cool. For example, I like Zydeco and Irish music, among many other types, and I've noticed even accordian players getting a lot of love -- despite that instument's perceived nerdiness (undeserved, of course).
I'm just a consumer and appreciator, starting to rack up a few dollars in Head-Fi-induced expenses. More power to you. (When I was a kid, I liked the sound of the oboe, but didn't know its name, so then and now I still think of it as the "bazooka.")
