I have a very hard time envisioning myself moving on from my HE-500s; the mids, overall clarity and tonal balance, and just overall vibrancy are absolutely on point. They may take a backseat to other headphones but it really is like wearing speakers on my head and conveys that kind of energy and experience.

I second @KCXT in not letting the HE-500 go anywhere. Recently, the HD800 SDR modded joined that stable. The raw detail and flexibility that the HD800 has at the price you can get it at is simply outstanding. It might change once I'm able to try the Utopia and Susvara though.
