Out of curiosity, at what stage of a build do final payment requests go out?

i've set up to start the matching of the input JFET (rare, discontinued japanese parts) for the amplifier modules. matching the parts will take 1-2 days, refining the matching will take 1-2 days, and soldering into the modules will take 1-2 days. hopefully this will be done by the end of next week. These amps are much, much faster to test than the BHSEs, so i should be able to start shipping almost immediately after that step is done. because of this i am sending out payment requests for this batch of GS-X mk2 tonight

It was even more complicated for me as I had to add in a false shipping amount to get at the proper total. I still sent the payment with zero worries. The PayPal all goes to the same address.
 
(The Headamp site still shows pictures of the MK1. I think that it is fair to say that Justin is focussed on hand-matching JFETs, not web minutiae.)

i fixed it to say GS-X mk2 not BHSE
 
also, i forgot about the shipping issue. just make it so the total amount adds up to whats in the email. if taking advantage of the 'special offer', and outside the U.S., then there will be additional shipping costs.

Have all the invoices been sent? I didn't get one and ordered last July....
