What is max XLR output power on the GS-X headamp in 600 ohms ?
I see it draws 15 watt totally power consumption. 7w per channel or something ?

Does anyone know how much power the gsx mk2 puts out compared to the moon neo 430 ha or the V281 or for that matter any of the high end amps mentioned around here?  I read I thought somewhere it puts out 4-5 watts running balanced?  It's not easy to figure out an apple to apple comparison of these.  Thanks

gsx puts out about as much as neo 430 but its sweet spot is much lower, the V281 is significantly more powerfull than before mentioned amps

Official values from HeadAmp: 23Vpp/100 ohms, 21Vpp/25 ohms, 16Vpp/10 ohms. All doubled using balanced outputs.

Strange that they dont state the watts for 600 ohm like the other vendors do. They do state it uses 15w consumption. which I find very little. My Oppo HA-1 consumes 70w, but there is a DA converter + some electronics to drive bluetooth too, but still 40W consumption on the amp if the DAC consumes 30w.

Hi,

My values are taken out from the booklet which camed with the GSX-mk2 I received Saturday.
Really I haven't myself done any measure and I don't have the equipment.

The red color is 200USD.

Cool...then they should be good. The ones on the website still reference the GS-X and not the Mk2.

Hi,

About the GSX-mk2 I can say that switched on 'H' into the 6,35mm connector the LCD4 is properly driven and you will get what the DAC will give as sound shape.
There is more power out the balanced outputs.
