According to the FitEar Homepage, there is no TITAN Universal as you see here

https://fitear.jp/music/product/universal.html

I checked older Versions of the Homepage with the Wayback Machine and the "Products no longer sold" Page, but there is no Mention of an TITAN Universal anywhere. e-earphone and Fujiya-Avic also never heard of an TITAN Universal. This product seems to not exist as far as i can tell.

I found one on Jaben but that one is just the TITAN Custom Demo Unit (Is Jaben selling the Demo Units as Universal?)

Anyway, if that is the case (i can only guess, as there is no official information from FitEar), then the first thing you should try is COMPLY TZ-500. If that doesn't help, a lot of power usually means (not always) high output impedance and high distortion at very low volume (What you will use when the device has a lot of power)

If that influences the tuning of the IEM and how depends on the impedance of the IEM. Some IEM get a bass boost, others get a treble boost but there are IEM with linear impedance where just nothing changes (That is when people call it "Not picky" or something like that, like if the IEM has a mind on its own^^)

So the first thing you should try are the COMPLY Earpieces and then, with a device that is the exact opposite, not a lot of power. With 3.5mm to keep the output impedance as low as possible to see if it might be due to high output impedance.
titan universal has been selling in china by jaben a few years ago. not sure if they're still offering this model now. i also got a 2nd hand unit a few years ago

i found some old photos i took back then, alongside silver and EST Ti. subsequently i got the ciem titan too, i didn't found significant difference in sound between the two versions even the shells are in entirely different shape except for better fit. the universal is quite a bit smaller in size.

Because of the included cable, it is a very expensive and premium cable, this pairing was specially picked by Suyama to give the best sound output from the Titan. Also has a special insulation made for the Titan that will affect the sound

Creator cable is ultra expensive and also ergonmically very poor.

The Creator which is essentially an universal version of DC Ti + creator cable costs over us$7k i believe. The china market titan univeral comes with 007 cable and cost less than us$3k back then, if my memory served me correctly. And bear in mind the ciem ver in japan is without cable (the jaben hk ver comes with a less exoctic creator copper cable though).

I might be biased, but I wouldn't spend extra $ on creator cable in any case. The creator 4 silver cable i got with my 2nd hand est ti (jaben hk ver) was very difficult to handle ergonomically and totally unfit for portable use. i didn't hear any difference from 007 cable on several home listening sessions too.

Agree. I have tried the Creator cable and frankly, I do not believe it is worth the money. I think the market enjoys such “limited edition” stuff. And also it is the only way that folks who have no access to FitEar customs or wish to be able to on sell are able to partake in FitEar. ;)

I had the 013 on the TG334 and the MH334SR comes with the 007.

To be honest, if the 007 ever breaks, I am going to replace it with an 013 :D it's cheaper and it did the job for me as good

But I'm not a cable guy to begin with. I want a high quality cable but the 013 already is imho

Does anyone here mind sharing the experience with Titan Universal, especially compared to other flagship/TOTL level IEM in terms of technicality & musicality? I'm looking for some new adventure with non mainstream brand rn. Thanks!

FitEar is one of the biggest Mainstream Brands^^ at least in Japan. Almost all Artist (there are a few exceptions) in Japan use FitEar and the MH334 was the best sold Custom IEM in 2024. So if you're looking for an non-mainstream Brand, you should look at CanalWorks. They are basically the non-mainstream Version of FitEar.

That said, if you want an FitEar, you should get an Custom. I had an Universal and while they are really good, the Custom simply are better.

They are slightly more expensive than the universal but worth the money

The TITAN is no Flagship however, at least not more than the DC Ti or the MH Release. FitEar doesn't have something like one Flagship. They have different IEM with different Sounds but all of them are as good as possible.
