Coming from using the MH334 then upgraded to the MH334SR and used them for pretty much 9 years as my main IEM, the MH335ht is worth a listen to. I think it's better than the MH334SR in every single way but note that the treble on demo unit are just no where near as good as it would be in the CIEM unit.

It was the same when I demoed the MH334 and MH334SR too, the demo on the MH334SR did sound a bit harsh but never harsh on the finished CIEM somehow.
Thanks for sharing. More or less set on the 335ht for now unless the ex demo sways me over when it comes.

The 334sr is also on my want list down the road

Its a different IEM rather. I would not call it better as you could never do Mixing/Mastering with the MH335ht, what you absolutely can do with the MH334SR.

So i'd say its rather different than better.

And pulled the trigger for the mh335dwex. Found it better than the ht. Really tight sounding. Better in the lows but still with a lot of clarity and highs don't suffer. More forward somewhat.

The DC Ti will need to wait until the wallet hole recovers.

Roughly a 2 month wait I guess. Hopefully not as long as the wait for my titan.

Look good! Sadly I'm away. But how's the price point?

Fujiya Avic also has a campaign right now. Roughly 10~20% off on most FitEar

Big shout out to @Uncle Wilson of Jaben Singapore for getting this across to me today. :)

Have switched out the cable for @Eric Chong ’s Eletech Ode to Laura. And listening right now out of the Luxury & Precision E7 streaming LDAC from Samsung S24. Very nice indeed!

[edit] now listening out of the Luxury & Precision P6Pro 10th Anniversary Silver. Have placed an order with @Uncle Wilson for a pair of customs. :)

Omg! Gundam 45th anniversary onkyo x fitear series.

Seems like it's a must buy item! I'm eyeing on the k3 (said to be a mh334 underneath) even the design is a bit . . . Under achieving.

Hmm... An 334 for the price of an 334SR just because it has a piece of paint on the back...

I'd say, paint it yourself^^

It doesn't even use the ONKYO driver for the bass, is really just the normal MH334 as said in the press release

The question is idk how the K2 differs from the H1. Wasn't available to demo side by side and I hardly remember what the H1 sounded like. K2 would probably get fatiguing though but maybe ok as a custom fit. Had the same feeling with the Room2. Still, I'm most likely just gonna buy a DC Ti next.

I'm a simple man. I got the MH334SR and there are no plans to get something else so far^^

I too own a 334SR and it is one of my favourites, but sometimes I want something with a little more treble extension and occasionally crave the DD timbre. DC Ti fits that description quite well I'd say.

BTW the Fitear headphone, projected 80-90k MSRP if I heard correctly, Fall launch. It sounds like a Fitear IEM somehow. The ear cups are quite small so it might get uncomfortable over time. Suyama-san said it was created out of demand from studio engineers who wanted headphones to use during mixing and mastering, while the artists would use their IEMs, and he wanted to create something that would sound as similar as possible. Nailed it lol, but I'm not much of a headphone guy. I think it would get fatiguing for me to listen to.

The MONITOR-1 is already available. According to FitEar it sounds like the MH334 but its only available for professional artists.

The new MONITOR-1 Studio Reference, according to FitEar, sounds like the MH334SR and will be available for consumer too.

Currently i am using the Audio Technica ATH-R70xa and before i had the HD 490 Pro. They all sound very similar to the MH334SR and follow the same target.

I wanted to go to the Headphone Festival today, they showed an prototype there but i didn't made it in time...
