Just received the Eletech Ode to Laura this afternoon. Now taking it out for a spin with the DC Ti and Sony 1ZM2.
Thanks! That's very useful. Sadly the 009 aqua not really good for me than. I didn't expect the 4.4mm jack can't fit with the specified tolerance! I might looking for brise instead as I've very good impression with the construction quality for the ie900 oneOh the 009 aqua cable is definitely stiffer than 007 but sound quality-wise, it pairs really well with the DC Ti (duh). Can't comment much on microphonics because I don't take my DC Ti on the go but it's definitely not ergonomic whatsoever, kind of hard to store (when trying to wrap & store it in the pelican case) due to its stiffness. Another thing I don't like is the 4.4 mm plug it comes with. It comes with OE Audio's multi-plug and its 4.4 mm plug doesn't work well with some 4.4mm sockets where if you insert the plug all the way into certain sockets, you get one channel shorted out or something (no sound). You then have to slightly pull the plug out so that channel comes back, kind of annoying but it only happens with some 4.4 mm sockets, other 4.4 mm plugs such as Pentaconn's never have this issue.
Btw, seems many didn't use their dc ti on the move just wonder why? Poor isolation or weight? I planned to ask any good idea on how to store the dc ti while communting (I'm using the Sony je velvet soft bag with divider for my silver now) but seems that's the use case for most here haha

I’m also going to try Brise Audio for DC Ti, currently waiting for Naobi Ultimate to arrive. If it pairs well, going to stow that aqua cable away.
Yeah I just don’t take any wired IEMs outside anymore, I find myself using Sennheiser MTW2 and Sony WF1000XM4, much more convenient. Although I do think the DC Ti isolates quite well, maybe I’ll test that one of these days on the metro.
Indeed. My daily gear is tws too. Mtw3 has the best blend of sound quality, connection stability and battery for the moment and i don't really found major shortcoming for commuting use when i couldn't concentrate on listening. final ze8000 is coming and hopefully it may do even better.I’m also going to try Brise Audio for DC Ti, currently waiting for Naobi Ultimate to arrive. I just use the newly acquired toys (wired iems) usually for the 1st week and then stowed them for occasionally use

Thank you! Running this combination this morning. I think the pairing is excellent! There is a very nice romantic lilt to the music. Holographic. The vocals are amazing! Kudos to @Eric Chong and team!

So I found out OE Audio actually has a gen 2 multi-plug now, apparently my 009 Aqua cable came with a gen 1 plug and that 4.4 mm socket compatibility is a known issue for gen 1 4.4 mm plug after confirming this with OE Audio. I've ordered a gen 2 4.4mm plug to see if this resolves the issue that I have with certain 4.4 mm sockets. I think the main issue is: some 4.4 mm sockets may inadvertently be in contact with the plug's chassis and that results in some signals shorting out. The solution OE Audio told me they applied was adding a taller spacer under the GND terminal of 4.4 mm plug so that the chassis will less likely be in contact with the 4.4 mm socket.
I found some pictures of gen 1 vs gen 2:
Gen 1
Gen 2
Will report back if the gen 2 4.4 mm plug works

Okay, turns out there’s no actual difference between Gen 1 and Gen 2 4.4mm plugs. I misunderstood what OE Audio told me: they provide washers for users if they need it lol. The washers have an adhesive side that sticks to the plug. Well, at least it’s a solution that works.
