Thanks for the answers regarding drag and drop.  That's what I imagined but I wasn't certain.  I'm guessing that you can therefore organise the library on the X1 by folder (like you can in Foobar2000), as well as the usual Artist, album, genre, etc?

Is the same true of the X5 (drag and drop?  Organise by folder?)

Oh, and with regard my other question, to satisfy my curiosity further, when were the X3 and X5 released?

Cheers.  And hope you're all enjoying your new X1s!

Yeah, I tossed my stickers in the trash. It's too pretty to cover up!

Has anyone heard anything yet about a stacking kit for this little beauty? There's really not a good place to put a standard band that doesn't interfere with a button or the screen in any way.

Looks like I'll need to break down and get an amp once my h3 arrive :3

The good news, as I found out, is that there are some very inexpensive little amps that will do the job quite nicely. I haven't listened to the Topping NX1, but from what others have said, it does a good job with the Havi, but may be a little less warm in the mids and upper bass than the Sap-5. If that is the case, I would prefer the Sap-5 with an X1 pairing because to my ears, that added warmth/bloom is what the X1 needs. That is on the Sap's standard setting. The bass boost switch sounds horrible.

I've got a few hours in with the x1 now. This unit sounds very good.the bass is punchy, but not overbearing. Treble is crisp but not harsh. Looking forward to a few more hours with it after work.
