Well, warning about huge volume, when using line out is a good example of Fiio's care about users, but show it always after turning on, is a little bit annoying. Can it be turned off? Like "OK, I got it, and I want to got earache" option?

No, keep the warning

When you have multiple DAPs, it's really easy to forget custom setting of each one.  For me personally, I need a double warning lol!!!  I totally forgot while had headphones connected directly and almost blew away my ear drums

It's up to the user's responsibility to take care of his/her ears ! I don't think that a warning message will change something at all, in the same way that speed traffic signs never stopped drivers from speed excess

Yeah, what does it matter if people go deaf?  I agree - scrap the warning signs. And throw in a free packet of cigarettes and a gun too.

6, Special LO cable ( we used 11pin micro USB socket so the line out will be install both in the headphone out socket and the micro USB socket ), it can be used in our new DAP too.

Hi James,

can you please tell me if there is a difference between the headphone socket which you can switch to LO and this USB LO output (from the technical specification view)?

I already have a X3 since last year an very happy, but I want to buy the X1 as well, to use them with a portable AMP with LO connection.

And do you have any rough idea which date I can buy this nice DAP in Germany?

Thanks!

I'm a total newbie when it comes to DAP's, but would I see an improvement in sound quality, if I buy the FiiO X1 compared to the Ipod Shuffle 4th Generation? I will any way buy the X1 DAP. But I'm still curious.

There are not any difference between the LO and the USB LO. just design the USB LO for the docking amp. and we plan to ship X1 from 20th, Sept to global market.

Hi twister6, I noticed you also have the Clip+.

I was wondering if you can post a picture of the Clip+ and X1 side by side (To see their size difference),

as well as compared the sound quality & signature between the two DAPs.

Thanks.
