Hey fiio free idea here.   Make something really small like for use with iems.   Then make something bigger like an x5 with an indentation on the top that the small player docks with for use with more powerful headphones. Or make something small like that and sell an amp/dac combo for the player to dock with separately to get rid of all the cabling mess that is inherent with portable amps.

. but this will be quite difficult for a high-rez player unless we used 3770 one chip solution.  X1 supports 192/24 and individual DAC chip + individual OP amp .

People need a good spanking for wanting ridiculous features for a 100$ player!!
 
There needs to be only two things that it should do
 
1)sound good,,,preferably on par with colorfly c3(same price) and better than clip+
2)have a good interface that dosen't crash
 
rest all are unwarranted in a 100$ player,,,for those get x3 or x5

Yeah hopefully, it shouldn't probably be that hard to accomplish. Plus, IIRC James said that the E11K would come out sometime in July.
