My understanding is a temp ban lasts anywhere from one week to several weeks. I say weeks because I believe that's the interval in which bans are dispensed.
 
But there will be no banning, because you two will cut out the squabbling, right? Otherwise I'll be sad. And you don't want to make me sad do you? So please drop any grievances and kiss and makeup. Or at least makeup. Without underhanded forgiveness or compliments preferably.
