Oh you have NO idea...  Some of the car seats out there these days boggle the mind.

I really like the ones made by Recaro, very sturdy, and light. They're my favorites, so far.

You know, I'm really starting to feel put down concerning the poor attitudes of some people on the FS forums. Some dude messages me about my DT1350's asking to buy them for so much. I turn down the offer and offer a counter offer which meets halfway between his offer and my asking price. We chat concerning shipping and I give him a rough estimate on what it would probably cost to ship. He says he's interested but wants an exact shipping quote. I say alright and waste the little time I have getting the headphones weighed and measured by the post office for an exact quote. Did I mention I did this during my lunch break today and didn't have time to have a proper lunch due to getting this quote. I get the quote, which I may add is a couple of bucks cheaper then the estimate I gave him, get home message the potential buyer with the exact quote thinking it's a done deal. A few hours later the buyer messages me saying he won't buy them because he thinks the pricing is to expensive and then says he can get them brand new on eBay for so much. Interestingly enough the price he said he can buy them on eBay for is the original price he offered me in the beginning which I turned down. I look for myself on eBay, thinking the guy is full of it, and find absolutely nothing even remotely priced to what he claims he can get them for. I ask you ladies and gentlemen, do I have the word imbecile tattooed on my forehead? Yes I act a little wacky on here for the sake of a few laughs but I am far from a fool and really don't appreciated being treated like one. Why do some people insist showing so little class?

I KNOW THE FEELS. Luckily I've only had a couple very very remote accounts, but they make me rage, and honestly make me feel awkward by trying to barter.

That's already been discussed, and I have a big bag of No with her name written all over it. Then I hand her the keys to something like this:

He also claims that (and I would love it if Coq de Combat could give me some insight into this) that the Northern European countries have such high standards of living despite appearing to be what we call 'socialist', because they actually have very small and limited central governments; the money is distributed to very small and quite autonomous individual districts who tend to allocate resources in a gloriously chaotic and messy process where local people wrangle over issues like where to put a water fountain etc.

In my opinion the Northern European countries have high standards of living because:

1) population is small ( Sweden 9.5 million, Finland 5.4, Denmark 5.5, Norway 5), in comparison Great Britain has 60 million

2) people are generally disciplined, honest, hard-working

3) territories are isolated which helps to sustain stability

Will do when I get the 1R :3

I can say that the momentum has quite a detailed soundstage, but within quite an enclosed space. The warmth of the sound coupled with the closed nature (which is probably two ways of saying the same thing) make it quite intimate.

From memory I think the 1R was a bit bigger in scale.

Also, suddenly I find myself tremendously intrigued by the UE4000 or UE6000... (Simply because they are on sale... and you can get white ones...)

UE6000 is on sale? where?
Is the UE900 on sale too?

Ooh, last day. It's at Dick Smith, 30% off all headphones. They do the UE4000, UE6000, UE8000 and UE900. It's not a huge discount, just means you get the US price (or slightly lower) without shipping from USA. Local warranty of course.

I imagine that if you walked in tomorrow and asked for a 'dick deal' they might be able to do the 30% off again lol.

After this I might get the UE4000. The UE6000 is quite impressive in how close it is to the Momentum to my ears.

But in all seriousness my dad always wanted an UE6000/9000 so this might be good for him ^^

Aww I wish you had asked me earlier :frowning2: BUT! If I decide to let go of the UE6000 (I can't imagine why I would keep both the 6000's and the Momentum's) I could sell you my pair? :3

The UE900 was actually impossible to buy at the discount price because they didn't allow online ordering and as far as I could tell no store in NSW had a pair...

I didn't get the UE9000 because I don't want a bluetooth device right on my head for hours at a time. I take a better safe than sorry approach to brain tumors lol.

Hang on though, if the sale is still on online you could always order a pair of 9000's for your dad? (1 hour left lol.)

I like the "Crossing" avatar pix, compoopers...very nice!

Thanks, it's also my phone homescreen. Once I figure out how to record my homescreen in a video I'll post it here. It looks awesome on my galaxy s3.
Picture comes from this wonderful photographer.

On another topic, I've been trying to determine which headphone I should set my sights on next:
Contenders

HD650
HE-400
D5000 (wait just kidding What why are these so expensive all of a sudden? Discontinued = skyrocket price?? Are the new denons any good?)

I've got the MDR Z1000 already, so I don't want to just buy another headphone that sounds very similar. I'm mainly looking for more bass/sub-bass presence which is what I'm missing with the Z1000s. I also am looking for a better soundstage. I'm definitely into bass and mids more than high presence, but then again, I'm really into chiptunes and electronic music recently which probably would enjoy accurate highs.

Anyway, anyone got experience with these guys? thoughts??
