Monster on ebay has refurbished Monster Jamz Headphones for $22.95 with free shipping.
Mixed reviews with their list price of about $100, but perhaps they are a good deal for $22.95.

White version and Red version of Go-Dap GD-03 are also available for $20.

I'm also curious whether this fits the iPod Classic. Can anyone confirm?

This Go-Dap has a recessed 30-pin connector with a curved holder that is for the iPhone.  To use it with a Classic, you would need a 30-pin to 30-pin extender cable of some length because the Classic is too big to fit inside of the curved body.  That still leaves the choice of where to put the Classic when it is attached (velcro to the other side?  Rubber bands?  Not sure about that...)

With the Nanos, they are small enough to fit inside of the curved holder portion.  I've tried the Nano 1G and 3G and the Touch 3G -- no cable needed.  I don't see why it wouldn't work with the other Nanos, but I haven't tried.  And the battery of the Go-Dap can charge the player if you want -- or not (there is a multi-position On/Off switch).

In terms of its sound character, Jude did a full review of this amp here:

I think it has good imaging, and if there is a frequency character, it has some midrange-treble emphasis.  Sounds very good with the M-100, and in fact balances out the bass on these cans, making them sound more neutral.

Thanks for that info. I just ordered one for my Touch 3G. Only white ones left (my least favorite choice), but for $20 who cares?
