now if i could find some info if any of those could host a usb dac

I don't think any of these have otg capability (out of the box at least), but there are 4.1/4.2 ports for all of them.   The stock version is 2.35.  Don't know why it says theres no cyanogenmod port for these devices, because they're right there on XDA.  Guess woot didn't do their research.

yeah but otg compatibility doesnt mean usb dac compatability.  the s2 has otg functionality but no dac compatibility

Well I just ordered a 4.0 so I'll figure it out soon.  It appears that the 4.0 is based on the wm8994, while the 4.2 contains the wm1811.  Supercurio seemed not only to find missing kernel components in the 4.2, but that the device measures horribly in comparison to the wm8994 based 4.0.  So no voodoo sound for any of them except the 4.0.

FiiO is selling this newly offered HS2 Headphone Output Switcher - a 4-way passive switch box for A/B testing - for only $20.00, which includes shipping to the U.S., direct from FiiO:

It comes in a nice little tin box with four 3.5mm stereo patch cables, as seen in thegrobe's post:

It seems most people are receiving theirs about 10 days after making payment.  Instructions for ordering can be found in this earlier post from the same thread:

Great deals on refurbished Samsung Galaxy Players of all sizes on Woot.com.

Those are actually a bit expensive for refurbished devices.  You may be able to find used samsung galaxy s/vibrant/captivate/epic/fascinate cheaper on craigslist.  Some has 16GB.  Should all have voodoo-compatible wolfson.
