THE COMPOSER OPEN BACK FLAGSHIP by AUSTRIAN AUDIO

lol 😂 Thats some DIY level janky headphone design. Why would you design your driver to require such a thick piece of front damping to achieve the desired tonal response - apparently still too bright even with that thick of front damping.

Strange that others stick their ear pads on with adhesive tape at even higher prices 🤣

That’s bad industrial design I agree. But IMO I will take bad industrial design over bad driver design any day.

It's also strange that some people notice something when they put something in front of their transducer at other models😉...but not with the Composer
(You could call them overdamped.... on one or the other model....where the bass doesn't come across as clean, hard and fast as on the AA😉)

Double sided adhesive tape like with the Audeze pads I think would be preferable to glueing, no?

Still it would be interesting to take the Composer foam and try it with the K812.

Ear pads may no longer be attached with adhesive tape in the high-price segment🤣
(They have to go in seconds to be replaced 😉)

Take the Mesh from K872 and put it into the K812 Ear Pad😉

Looks like they took the beyerdynamic way and put a bit too much of front damping. That's how they get the linear bass extension, but that could sacrifice some dynamics. Looking forward to try It myself.

The dynamics are what make the Composer so special😉....and this extends across the entire spectrum
But as I said before, just listen for yourself and compare side by side if possible👍

What’s the problem I mean for 2500 Euro you get a little glue homemade style but perfect amazing sound. so don’t be too critical with AA they are pure sounding and unleash every note even if not played. amazing workmanship is all I can see. just a piece of art.just as my hero Nomax said the dynamics are life like and better then any other headphones out there. so please buy it and support a local dealer and manufacture.

Yeah. Id love to try it myself and compare to my reference HPs.
I can see why some people are worried about the foam being so exposed, though.
Btw you should change your username to Ñomax. It sounds better and more dynamic :)

PS. LOL

Don't worry about damaging the driver membrane....because it is protected under this special foam 😉
