I think pros would want a easily accessible connectors if they need a replacement. (their job depends on it. even using lemo seems horrible considering there are alternatives)

Or they don't need one for a long long time because this plug connection is one of the most tight ones where no locking is necessary
(Admittedly,I too was surprised last year regarding plugs as I saw and heard the first prototype)

I don’t see that as much of a problem for the pro community: if their job depends on a cable, they usually bring two. Or will change job eventually
This is much more a thing for the private/audiophile community wanting to have easy access to third party cables… the Conductor being an offering to that community, we‘ll see how that works out.

Lemo is a good connector, but hard to work with when configuring cables. For my non-professional needs 3.5mm is perfect, without proprietary locking mechanisms, and yes, I much prefer one-sided cable entry. No, I don’t need balanced. So my life is easy I guess… should I get the Conductor for myself, I’ll most probably just use the included cable.

Well you have to listen to them, you can't "see" a kilobuck pricetag from aesthetics

The Heddphone V2 seems to be the current benchmark to beat at 2k
With 2.5k the Composer would even need to beat it and not only reach the same level, but both are still unreleased, time will tell when both are readily available.

I hope these are not real leather pads. Also on the headband.

Actually I like only real leather and I hope both the earpads and the headband are made of genuine leather. If you don't like genuine leather ask them to have a choice for fake leather when you purchase them.

There was no question asking you what you like, and I didn't ask for your advice. Plus, I haven't seen any pro-audio HP using real leather - including HEDDphones.
