My only suggestion to prospective Utopia buyers is try before you buy.

Yes, those who always wanted a kind of utopia.... with more space and bass should do that👍
(For those who are interested in a Composer😉)

NOMAX

PS.But I'm talking about the OG and not 2022😎
So it couldn't be more obvious if you take these two tracks and compare the Composer with the Frenchman from 2022 🤣
(In this case i mean not the OG )

You can hear that here from the very first second 😉

And here from second 0.40 😆

Tell me what's missing?😉
I can tell you what....the spaciousness and the low end/moving air mass

The ones that are in Munich next week on Thursday or Friday and see me....just talk to me👍
I can show you something special😎

@swedishpat
You'll be amazed and say that's not possible🤣
(If you take the right approach, yes...much more is possible😉)

OG Utopia is metallic and too hot in the top end. Composer is better in that area. But Utopia 22 midrange is better rendering voices and instruments then Composer. Composer has the touch of clinical tonality. My 2 cents...
Btw Susvara has by far margin better midrange then both! Immanis is faster sounding, more resolution, more space, more of all vs Composer and Utopia 22. But yeah the tonality both Composer and Utopia 22 nailed it for me! There are technically better headphones out there but tonality they are kings together with Susvara.

I think it's understandable that listeners who like planar dynamic phones might also like the Utopia. It does seem to me the Utopia is aimed at those who might appreciate the high-energy planar presentation, with some better dynamic range. To my ear, phones like the Composer, the HD800S, AKG, Beyers, etc, have a more 'organic' target - which I've always found better suited to acoustic music. As to the suggestion 'there are technically better headphones out there' - it's simply meaningless. In terms of measurements, the Composer and the HD800S are about as good as it gets. Is there some other point?

Shows how differently we hear things. Could be equipment, music taste, ears who knows but I completely disagree as I feel Composer mids equal to my Susvara as always ymmv :)

Will you check out the new AK SP4000 with the composer at High End?

@noplsestar Sure 👍

A blessing to my ears...I just close my eyes and lean back highly satisfied with the Composer on this track
(You simply have to listen to it at with over 90db...because it's just awesome)

It's like being in heaven 😇

PS.Even if my French is even worse than my English🙈
(I can't even imagine with only 80db...at least not with this headphone 🤣)
