I believe is the DX320 Max Ti + PB5? Again too bulky for me.

You can use a smaller DAP with PB5. Sounds great without an external amp too. But it will never be as good with a DAP alone. I use the amp at home and just the DAP on the go.

Have you also tried a Samsung phone with your D16? Sounds clearer than with the iPhone. At least in my setup. I always found the iPhone kind of a mellow source with my audio chain. Maybe you have a chance to compare those two phones in in the future.

soundwise: such a great amp. hardware top! sound is unbelievable detailed but at the same time very musical with a huge stage and voices to die for.

This is my portable/transportable stack. Using it at home on daily basis. A bit heavy of course, but manageable in my pockets when going around the house and doing stuff.

Audio chain: Samsung S23 -> ddHifi TC09s -> Calyx K DAC -> Arctic Cables Silver/Palladium interconnect -> Romi Audio BX-2 pro -> Arctic Cables Aeris -> Austrian Audio Composer -> ears/brain/nirvana

Hi All! I have been enjoying my Composer for the past 2 months. Love it with CMA18p but recently I auditioned it on the following chain.
iPad -airplay-> Hugo2+2go -RCA-> Enleum HPA-23RM
Sounded absolutely stunning. Too bulky and expensive for me but if you ever get a chance to, do try it.

I am looking for a DAP, since the Composer are easy to drive. Has anyone tried it on Lotoo PAW GT2? Or recommend any DAP which goes well with these? I prefer a neutral/neutral warm signature. Thanks!

I recommend pairing the Lotoo via XLR Output with the Full Score One
It doesn't get any better....

Just like the Composer, that Lotoo is something special and I like both designs very much. I hope they will continue to bring features to it via software updates.

The Lotoow is a nice gadget, but without streaming not interesting for me. Roon ARC is a must in the meantime.

I’m thinking between the lotoo or enleum RMH. Leaning towards the enleum because it’s a lot cheaper and I heard it’s endgame. Not sure how much better Lotoo can be at twice the price used?

Earlier in the thread, @Nomax was saying that the great thing about the Composer is that you don't need to spend much on amplification to get TOTL sound. I have to say that the composer sounds to my ears much, much better on the Icon Audio amp driven by a schiit gungnir A1 than any full-score one chain I have heard. Since he has suppossedly heard everything, I am curious what he likes better about his nearly 10k chain compared to my lowly 2k one (although the icon is now selling for double what it used to cost). Moffat bass and the icon play to the strengths of the composer beautifully.

Now I'm beginning to understand Paul and why he designed and built the Full Score One the way it is now
