PS.Tonally and technically, however, the 812 has absolutely nothing to do with the Composer....I was really shocked today ....but it's also fair to say that it was almost 10 years ago the K812

A lot has happened since then, new models have come out. I've also heard Grados, but very rarely.
Let them compare if they like it.

Without knowing the Grado - difference like between day and night? But that's not meant to be a judgement. The DT1990 is probably closer to the Composer (I know the difference) than Grado?
