Ok, thanks! Reminds me of this https://www.louis.at/de/xelion-cell...RoCtSUQAvD_BwE&filter_article_number=20019094
Also made with nanostructur!
And way foam is not meta, if it also affects the wavelength and amplitude?

You could print very complex structures, previously calculated, with good 3D printer. I discuss this with Heinz Renner (AKG K1000 and Mysphere 3 developer) too.

Even a previously calculated acoustic sump should not be a problem. With 3D printing, you can specifically create irregular foam structures and, importantly, they are reproducibly identical!

PS.The K872 was also a disaster to my ears😝
I had asked Bernie why this bad tonality?...because you can do it much better....his answer....Harman wanted a Woom Woom model for the US market🤣
I'm really glad that DCA exists with the closed ones Stealth&E3👍
Now I can say it. I listened to three differently tuned K872s before making AKG final decision. There wasn't really one among them that I could say "wow" to. The K812 was decidedly better.

The K812 had noticeably better bass compared to the T1 (first generation) at the time, but the difference was not so clear in the mids and highs. But it's been a long time since the K812 was developed, so memories are fading somewhat.

What should I say now?
Joe (including his sons) know what they have to work on
As long as the rigid construct keeps coming up every 18 Months with a different performance.....if I were in its place, I would think about an adjustment mechanism (horizontal, vertical and swivel mechanism) that every 100 euro headphone already has,as well as ear pads that enclose the human ear 😉 (without any free space being created or part of the ear pad sticking out behind the ear)

NOMAX

PS.Tonally, Diana Phi, TC and MR weren't bad 👍
But thats not enough considering the construct and the asking prices
How many Dianas are there out now in the last 5 years?...to be honest...I've stop to count
Personally, I would be happy👍 if I could hold someday a REAL headphone from Abyss in my hands, where I don't have to think... not again🙈

That's very interesting. I've long thought the K812 hasn't been bettered in terms of bass.

Did anyone buy this HP, use it for several years under very hot and humid weather conditions 10+ hours a day, in a very dusty environment, and realised that the sound is different from when it was new, then asked the company for the foams (but couldn't get them immediately and had to wait for months to receive them, but after receiving found out that replacement is very difficult) and now has an unusable HP in hand, and is crying day and night why he bought this HP?

Is this the scenario of the whole discussion we are having? You know this is a scenario that can be harmful to any HP out there, right? That substance that supposedly damages fills in the pores of the foam can also very well damage the uncovered driver membrane, causing an even worse driver issue compared to a covered one, you know that, right?

This discussion here is the biggest compliment, we could give to AA. Hunderts of head-fi-experts don't find more to criticise than a mash and how it will look in 10 years.
