Apologies for digging up the old thread, this is the only thread on head-fi about CKKi

How would CKKiii compare to amps like HeadAmp Gilmore Lite mk2 or Cayin iHA-6?

I have a GS-1 and a CKKIII so I guess that's lucky. Not sure on your system and how you want things to be but I can't help but feel the Gilmore Lite represents a lot of value and versatility. The CKKIII plays nicely with higher impedance headphones whereas you have more use cases with a dynalo. The Gilmore Lite would let the source come through, not imparting its own signature on things. For that I can't help but prefer it.
