The Brudeli is basically a KTM 690 Enduro with two front wheels.

The Brudeli is actually a nice looking bike, which I didn't think I'd ever say about a 3 wheel bike. But I think maybe I've seen too many of the scooter based 3 wheelers. The Piaggio MP3 comes to mind:

Apparently, it's kind of fun to ride though. I mean, kind of.

Sorry for late reply, Finally on spring break now so I can take it easy. You are right that the engines are not "reliable" but that is mainly due to misuse/misinformation. As long as well maintained and there is no tomfoolery the engine should last long. In fact NA rotaries are damn near bullet proof.

Its turning up the boost that hurts it. and 1 word HEAT. I've been looking into Auxiliary Injection (mainly water, maybe methanol mix) to help with engine cooling (some say it removes carbon build up). The car should remain basically stock for awhile, while I save up for porting, single turbo conversion, and what not. I aim to stay in the range of 350 to 400 hp but that's if and a big IF the power bug doesn't bite me.

The MP3 is one of the most hideous looking bikes on the road.

I saw a Carrera GT in person a couple of months ago driving in Ohio. I was fairly floored since it's so rare/expensive.
It's got the most alluring engine sound that I've ever heard from a vehicle.

Yes, that's exactly what I was saying. That's why I was surprised by the Brudeli in the sense that I actually like the looks of it, at least from certain angles.

Sadly the owner did not fire up this one, but just from the looks of it I am sure it sounded quite nice.

The thing is that these 3 wheelers are becoming quiet popular over here as it allows people who can't really balance to experience a motorbike.

I've seen quiet a few can-am spyders around actually.

whoohoo! my insurence went down by a bit because 1) I had license for 10 years now and 2) I have zero accidents or tickets.

The problem is that, I don't want to be getting old

And all this talk about miatas are really getting to me - I'm seriousely considering getting a miata alongside my bike. Hmmmmm

I'd do some pretty stupid things for that Mk2 Escort with a Cossie YB up front.

Also, Carrera GT's have to be one of the best sounding cars ever, at least from my youtubing experience

Any opinions on the sounding cars/bikes etc?

Kind of wanting an MR2 as well, but it'll be hard to find one in good shape

IMO, MX5 > MR2.

The last gen MR2s were pretty good, but the ones before that were twitchy as hell.

you mean bug-eyed Mr2 spyder? I wasn't talking about those

Yes, the tricky handling 2nd gen MR2.
Mid engined - and turbocharged car would be twitchy to drive indeed.

you're always a corner away from a snap oversteer when you're in MR2

I might get one of the old cheese wedge Mk1 Mr2's to replace the crashed yata. Good ol 4AGE motors never die.
